Vielle Prière Bouddhique

Lili Boulanger's orchestral composition, "Vieille Prière Bouddhique," features text derived from a Buddhist prayer. The poster for the orchestral piece is designed with typography that takes the form of a staircase, visually representing the profound message of the prayer, which speaks to the journey of all living beings toward transcendence. The color palette of the poster is inspired by Buddhism, using yellow to symbolize the renunciation of earthly suffering and blue and teal to represent the healing process for all living souls.

Bembo Typeface

The primary objective of this project was to conduct extensive research on the Bembo typeface, analyzing its origins, historical usage, and societal impact. Following the completion of the research, several motifs were designed using letters from the Bembo typeface. These motifs were inspired by the typeface's origin and evolution over time. To effectively communicate the research findings, a visually captivating poster was created featuring the research outcomes in an engaging and informative manner. The poster effectively conveys the significance of the Bembo typeface and its impact on various aspects of society.
